Ithaca is the homeland of witty Ulysses whose adventures have been spread all around the world through Homer’s epic poems. 

Ithaca is connected daily with Sami port by ferry. You can make the island tour with your car within one day. 

Vathi is the capital of the island where most of the souvenir shops, restaurants and cafes are gathered. The interesting archaeological museum is also located in Vathi. Ithaca is characterized by a beautiful landscape full of green and blue colors.  Filiatro, Ai-Giannis and Kioni are some of the many options for swimming and sun-bathing on the island.
